We diagnosis and treat pediatric dyslexia, speech and language disorders. Sessions are available in person or via zoom. Sessions are timed and tailored to your child’s specific needs. We accept Gardiner Scholarships and work with many homeschool families and private school students. Our dyslexia therapy is based on Orton Gillingham principles utilizing both OG and Lips systems to create the most effective unique therapy plan for your child. There is much overlap between literacy and language disorders and many clients benefit from a combined therapy plan addressing them simultaneously. My name is Angelica and I am from New York City (NYC) . I spent my earlier years of life in Puerto Rico and finished my teenage and young adult years in NYC. I earned both my Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Master of Arts (M.A.) in Communication Sciences Disorders (CSD) also known as Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) in NYC. Initially, I started working with individuals with Autism in an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) program. Then, I ventured to working with individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Throughout my career, I specialized in providing Speech Therapy (ST) services to individuals with tracheostomies in acute, sub-acute, and long term care settings. Later, I relocated to Florida where I currently reside and continue to serve as a SLP treating clients presenting with dysphagia, speech sound disorders, aphasia, cognitive-linguistic deficits, and voice disorders. In addition to this, I treat children with Autism, articulation, stuttering, and speech & language delays. I have a true passion for providing ST services across all populations.
