Primary focus has been with patients on the autism spectrum, articulation disorders,language/learning disability, ADHD and auditory processing.Hippotherapy is my latest passion within my field. This is using a horse as a therapeutic tool. As a parent of two special needs children I have a direct experience into the major challenges many parents face. My 32 years of experience working in the public schools and in my private practice have given me a multitude of challenges which I have tackled successfully. I am very willing to travel to different locations around the Denver metro area, do home visits and evening/weekend appointments. My latest passion is combining speech/language therapy with the therapeutic movement of a horse (known as hippotherapy). It has been extremely successful with autism spectrum disorders. Bailey has worked across multiple settings over the past 15 years. She has acquired training and experience working with a wide range of disorders, diagnoses, and clients. She has worked with pediatric speech therapy clients in their natural environment providing early intervention services, school aged language and speech students, and middle and high-school students with language and social communication goals. When working in hospitals and home health settings, she supported clients with speech, language, cognitive, and dysphagia needs. With both children and adults, Bailey has assessed and trained clients to use AAC devices and use alternative forms of communication.
