Our Practice, Hearing Partners of South Florida, is an audiology practice offering comprehensive hearing testing including tinnitus and balance assessments. As an organization of hearing professionals, we strive to provide our patients with viable treatment strategies to meet their hearing healthcare needs. Our Audiologists are all doctoral level and continue to stay abreast of new technology and treatment options in the field of Audiology. Hearing instruments are a final option not the only option. Currently, we monitor for ototoxicity those patients receiving chemotherapy, radiation treatment and/or intravenous antibiotics. We work with industry to monitor noise induced hearing loss and with pediatricians in identifying hearing loss in the newborn population. We also work with musicians and sound engineers in fitting appropriate musician ear devices. In addition, we work closely with Allergists and E.N.T’s in monitoring eustachian tube dysfunction and other middle and inner ear abnormalities. Dentists refer to us to manage tinnitus patients that suffer from TMJ and neurologists refer patients suffering from vertigo and tinnitus for site-of-lesion testing such as BERS and VNG to rule out retrocochlear involvement. We encourage you at any time to feel free to contact our office if you have questions or concerns. Thank you for allowing us to participate in the hearing healthcare of your patients.

Our Practice As the founder of the practice, I am delighted to welcome you to Hearing Care Resources. Audiology has been my professional calling not only here in Saratoga, but since I interned in an Audiology practice many years ago while I was still in High School. I loved helping patients hear better right from the beginning - and I realized how important hearing is in the course of life. With over 2 1/2 decades of experience providing audiological patient care, I have created this practice with a clear mission and culture in mind. The staff of Hearing Care Resources, LLC understands the significant emotional and physical impact that hearing loss can have on one’s life. We strive to provide individualized treatment in a warm and caring environment, with the goal of assisting each patient in finding solutions to their hearing health concerns. You can trust that we will be here for you for many years to come. Being a member of the local community means a great deal to me, my family and my staff. It’s important to have trusting long-term relationships with your healthcare team. Continuity of care is certainly a key to your overall health and happiness. This is where I have built my life and this is where I’m so pleased to have my staff and I take care of your hearing needs. We work with your physician If your examination shows that your hearing loss would benefit from medical or surgical care, Dr. Solomon will communicate with your physician to make sure that you receive it. Timely and accurate reports will be sent to your physician to make sure they are included in the process. Speech Therapist in San Diego at BabbleBetter
Hello, I’m Elizabeth McGuire, MA CCC-SLP, Licensed Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist. Parents call me Ms Elizabeth, and the toddlers call me Ms. M. Supporting children to develop their communication skills and reach their maximum potential for 22+ years. The early years create the greatest impact in how we are able to communicate with our children, and how they will interact with their surroundings. I use my expertise earned via my Master’s degree, and through working with thousands of school aged children along with specializing in baby and toddler speech and language therapy since 2007. I am so happy that you are here and the resources that I provide can lead you to your child’s greatest success in communication, learning, and in life! Please see program options below and if you have any questions, or want specific attention, you can call me for a free 15 minute consultation. My Philosophy ------------------------- My philosophy is that children who enjoy their therapy sessions strive with focus and make greater progress without thinking it is work. Our goal is to eliminate the anxiety, pressure, or “performance” aspect that can happen with delayed talking and replace it with a joy for making sounds and words. My welcoming environment builds trust between child, therapist, and families. We work together as a cohesive unit toward the quickest betterment of the child’s communication skills. As such, parental involvement is important. We include parents and/or caregivers as much as possible. We also provide families with activities that can be worked on at home. My Approach ----------------------- I feel the best intervention is that which the children enjoy and don’t realize it is therapy. Parents tell me that because we combine play-based therapy with parent training, they leave each session with real-life tools to use right away at home. I strive for my family clients to have the best and quickest success, and therefore provide multimodal methods to the therapy process. I’m constantly updating the therapy procedures with the most updated information possible, as evidenced by my three outstanding awards I have received for additional training. I provide services in either English or Spanish, depending on the needs of the family.

We can help you with language, stuttering, voice, & speech!
~personalized speech therapy in a comfortable environment~
My name is Analicia Lucas, and I am the owner of Lake Murray Speech. I had worked in the outpatient hospital setting for years and saw how often, the length and quality of therapy is dictated by hospital policies and productivity standards. I wanted to create a more comfortable, personalized, and home-like experience for clients to come to therapy and work on their communication skills. That is how my private practice began. Here at Lake Murray Speech, we help those who have difficulty communicating to develop new skills and confidence. We provide speech therapy services for children and adults with the following concerns: Speech Sound Impairment, Language Impairment, Social Language/Pragmatic Disorder, Aphasia, Voice Disorder, Tongue Thrust, Stuttering, Hearing Loss/Aural Rehabilitation, Accent Modification, Apraxia of Speech, Augmentative & Alternative Communication. ABOUT US: Lake Murray Speech & Language was created to provide high-quality, more affordable speech and language services for those seeking private individual therapy. Our mission is to help each person gain the skills and confidence they need to become excellent communicators. We can effectively treat a variety of disorders, but we have specialized experience working with bilingual clients, Spanish-speakers, and American Sign Language users. In San Diego, many opportunities exist for children to receive speech therapy at no cost to the family. San Diego Regional Center speech therapy services are available for children ages 0-3 with severe needs and Children's Care Connection (C3) services are available to children 0-6 with mild to moderate needs. The San Diego RiteCare Childhood Language Center also accepts applications for free therapy for children ages 2-12. Additionally, your local school district provides free services to those who qualify (generally, children with moderate to severe impairments). If your child qualifies for any of these services, we encourage you to use them! Many children do not qualify, even if parents see a need for speech services. Other times, children qualify but are placed on a long waitlist. Some only qualify for very short sessions within a group setting and make limited progress this way. Similarly, if adults have a health insurance policy that does not cover speech therapy, the options for low or no-cost therapy are limited. That is why Lake Murray Speech & Language was created! We offer excellent speech therapy services in San Diego for those who are looking for more options.

Neurofeedback is direct training of brain function, by which the brain learns to function more efficiently. We observe the brain in action from moment to moment. We show that information back to the person. And we reward the brain for changing its own activity to more appropriate patterns. This is a gradual learning process. It applies to any aspect of brain function that we can measure. Neurofeedback is also called EEG Biofeedback, because it is based on electrical brain activity, the electroencephalogram, or EEG. Neurofeedback is training in self-regulation. It is simply biofeedback applied to the brain directly. Self-regulation is a necessary part of good brain function. Self-regulation training allows the system (the central nervous system) to function better. Neurofeedback addresses problems of brain dis-regulation.
