Language-Literacy-Learning
It hurts to see your child struggle to learn and communicate effectively. Your child is smart. Your child wants to do a good job and be successful. But you are starting to see signs of discouragement, and loss of the curiosity and enthusiasm for learning that was once there. You have worked hard to give your child the best opportunities. You want to help but you aren’t sure what to do. I support children with learning difficulties who are struggling with discouragement and a loss of interest in education. By giving them the tools they need to overcome challenges with language, literacy, and auditory processing weaknesses, I help children renew their excitement for learning and their confidence in themselves. At the same time, I empower parents by equipping them with strategies to support their children’s learning in the midst of their busy daily routines, leading to a more calm and connected home life. Please contact me if you would like to see how we can work together to maximize your child’s potential. I look forward to speaking with you!

The Speech Niche
Speech Therapy & Accent Reduction/Modification
Parents of children with a speech/articulation concern: -Are you feeling frustrated because you can not understand your child when he speaks? -Is your child also frustrated because he doesn't feel understood and can't clearly express what he wants? -Has another professional told you that your child will outgrow his speech problem, but it doesn't seem to be getting better? -Is your child becoming more withdrawn because he knows he can't say certain words correctly? -Is your child 8 yrs old or older and still can't say R, S, TH, or L words? -Are other kids starting to notice that your child speaks differently? -Do you have to interpret your child's speech to other people? Adults: Do you have a regional or foreign accent that you would like to change? Are you feeling insecure at work or in social situations because of the way you talk? Do you always have to repeat yourself? Do you have difficulties being understood over the phone? Do you shy away from group talks or meetings because of the way you talk? Do you let other people talk for you at work or social gatherings? Do you feel your accent or enunciation skills get in the way at work or in social settings? To my potential clients, if you can relate to any or all of the above, I am here to help. Clear communication is essential to all of our relationships, both personal and professional. You don't necessarily have to be the greatest orator like Winston Churchill or John F. Kennedy. But it would be pretty great to be articulate just like them, but on a smaller scale within your tribe or community. Sessions are via tele-therapy only. I am licensed to practice in Colorado and California. So if you are located in these states, feel free to reach out. I offer free 20 minute consultations and we can chat it up and get those questions answered.

Don't Just Cope With Autism. Make Life Better!
Transformative Autism Coaching
Disconnection. Isolation. Having a child with autism makes life hard. You’re running more, trying harder than any parent you know, and getting back so much less. It’s not just the big accomplishments—the Instagram Superstar moments everyone posts of their kids—that you miss. Even more, it’s the little things, like shooting hoops, baking together, playing games, story time… All those small moments of big connection that were supposed to be “givens” of parenting… And despite those nagging voices in your head … or possibly even from folks around you… before we go any further, let me reassure you that YOU are a GOOD PARENT. How do I know? Because you’re here. You recognize that your child, your family, YOU have a need, and you’re actively seeking solutions. I know you’re running. And I know that when you’re not running, your mind is. Running for the answers, for the solutions to this mystery that separates your child from you, from the world. Let me tell you a secret. You can stop running now. Your answer has been right here all along... Because YOU are your child’s best medicine. I know this probably isn’t the message you’re used to hearing. But it’s true. When you really boil it down, the only difference between ASD and “normal” development is the different between this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SLzPyxzbYIwNnW0jcdnHmqKBYX27e0NW/view?usp=sharing And this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/19o6T7DbYnUCz8kTdqJjOYKAd6dtAqGi_/view?usp=sharing It’s just a matter of your child knowing how to span the gap and grab hold of the scaffolding guidance you provide. That’s it. But simple isn’t always easy… without the proper guidance. And that’s where I come in. If you want to guide your child to reach out to you (and others) for genuine, meaningful connection. If you want to learn how to help them THRIVE—now, and in the future—I can help. Reach out today to schedule a free consultation.

Working Together to Unlock Your Child's Potential
Offering traditional SLP with Craniosacral Therapy
I provide pediatric SLP services to children from birth to 16 years. I have specialty experience with feeding and swallowing, complex medical disorders and speech and language disorders. I have extensive experience in working with premature infants, both in the NICU and beyond in Early Intervention. I also provide traditional medical SLP services combined with Craniosacral Therapy with improved functional outcomes. (Craniosacral therapy is a light touch therapy that helps to balance the nervous system, leading to improved neurological function and better availability for traditional therapies.) Services are provided in my office on an individual basis, with active parent participation and home programming. I also have experience with Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Auditory/Language Processing disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, language delays and pre-reading difficulties.
