Aphasia – Aphasia causes patients to have difficulty reading, speaking, listening and writing. Aphasia is caused by damage to parts of the brain that are responsible for language. This includes involuntary repetitions of words, parts of words or sounds. Stuttering is also referred to as stammering. Dementia – Dementia is related to memory loss.
