Reaching New Heights, LLC
Speech-Language Pathologist
Broadview Heights, OH 44147
Innovative Pediatric Speech and Language Therapy
Social Skills Groups, Articulation, Language, Communication
Reaching New Heights is different from other Speech Language Therapy practices: Innovative speech and language therapy in an environment that is comfortable and welcoming for both the child and adults. A therapist who thinks outside the box, meeting the child in a place that is meaningful, fun, and functional. A child centered, family centered therapeutic setting where generalization is the goal. The philosophy at Reaching New Heights is child first. The Speech Language Pathologists will meet your child where he or she is right now. We will develop a treatment plan based on your child's strengths and weaknesses as well as likes and dislikes. Our goal is the same as yours - to help your child reach his or her true potential. Every child is unique and every child's needs are different. It is important that therapy be motivating, engaging and FUN so your child is an active participant and wants to come to the sessions. At Reaching New Heights, we take a different approach to social skills intervention by engaging the children in a group task. We call the group the "Snack Pack" as the children will work together to follow a recipe and make their own snack or lunch. This task involves following directions, taking turns, and working together for a common goal - skills that are needed in school and throughout life. Additionally, the children will be exposed to different foods in both preparation and tasting. After eating the snack, each child will complete a "review" of the snack to put in their recipe binder During the entire process, the children will engage in conversation with their peers. Therapy/Services Provided: Speech and Language Evaluations Apraxia of Speech (PROMPT trained) Autism (extensive experience and training including post graduate courses at KSU) Non-verbal communication (PECS trained) Augmentative and Alternative Communication (LAMP trained) Articulation Phonology Phonemic Awareness/Decoding Receptive and Expressive Language Social Skills - "Snack Pack" after school groups Reading Comprehension Written Language Word Finding/Memory

Rebecca Haas
Speech-Language Pathologist
Madison, MS 39110
Rebecca Haas has enjoyed working with children the past twelve years who have speech and language delays. Although she’s worked with many different age groups, she especially enjoy working with toddlers and preschoolers. They are so excited and eager to work with her when she comes to their home or daycare for speech therapy, and they often think of her as their friend who comes to play with them weekly. She chooses to work with young children in their natural environment because she can get more out of them during each therapy session. Young children are usually more comfortable at home or at their daycare than if they were seen in an office environment. Rebecca presently owns her own therapy practice, Talking With Toddlers, Ltd. in Jackson, Mississippi. She works with private therapy clients and contracts with Mississippi’s early intervention program, First Steps, which serves children age birth to three. Before that, she had a practice, Rebecca Hawkins & Associates, Ltd. in Savannah, GA for 8 years working with the early intervention population. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science degree in Communicative Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology and the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).

In-home speech therapy and evaluations
Ashley Goszczycki, M.S. CCC-SLP, is the founder of The Speech Spark. The Speech Spark is a full service private speech-language therapy practice providing services to children ages 2 to 14 years in Manhattan. We provide consultations, evaluations and therapy. A FREE consultation is provided in-person or via phone to discuss concerns, share information such as previous evaluations, and gather relevant documents on your child's level of speech and language skills. A consultation is used to determine if an evaluation is needed. If we determine that an evaluation is needed, your child's skills will be assessed during play, through parent interview, and using formal tests. An evaluation is 1-2 hours long. Following the evaluation, a comprehensive evaluation report is provided, which includes results, recommendations, frequency and duration of therapy, beneficial therapy programs, and classroom modifications. I work with you, your child and the child's teachers to develop a plan, including goals, helpful strategies, and areas of need. Therapy services are conducted in your home/daycare/school due to the incredible power of parent/teacher involvement in therapy to promote skill carryover. Therapy sessions can be 30 or 45 minutes, once, twice or three times a week depending on the child. After each session, I will tell you what we worked on and give homework to do on the days I am not there. It is also highly encouraged for the parent to participate in the therapy sessions. If this is not possible, I will provide feedback and videos of the session via email. At this time, we do not accept insurance. We provide receipts that you may submit to insurance for reimbursement. Please contact us to discuss rates.

Are you looking for faster results?
Summit Speech Therapy is the answer you've been looking for!
After working for years in the local schools, therapy clinics, and hospital settings, we found a wide disconnect between what was needed, and what was offered and available. As SLP’s we believe that these needed services are fundamental to increasing quality of life. We grew tired of the school systems limiting appropriate treatment frequency due to budget and staffing restraints. We’ve worked in the “comprehensive” clinics where speech therapy is only an “after-thought,” and not given adequate resources. We created a clinic where speech services are our primary focus. We realize that all ages are affected by speech-language needs, as communication is a necessary life skill. We love working with the pediatric and youth population. We are also trained to meet the unique needs of adults. We want to not only increase access to these all-important services, but to do so in a timely manner. Those who have sought care have felt the frustration of being placed on waiting lists for many months at the larger clinics and hospitals. They also know the inconvenience of meeting the schedule of a part time therapist providing care in the home setting. Working within the wide range of communication services for children, adolescents, and adults is all we do at Summit Speech Therapy. Directing our full-time energy and resources towards these services allows us to stay at the forefront of the Speech-Language industry, and to provide the best care in the best interest of client and family. We pride ourselves on building confident communicators and increasing overall quality of life by utilizing evidence-based therapy provided by highly skilled speech-language pathologists. Our passion at Summit Speech Therapy is to focus wholly on stand-alone speech therapy to build confident communicators. Come and see the difference in our professional, clinical, comfortable setting, and meet our highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologists.
